Dr. Thomas Behlmer – Clifton Park Dentist (general dentistry)
Dr. Thomas Behlmer believes you treat patients as you would treat your own family. Every patient deserves to have concerns listened to and have a dentist who truly cares about their well-being. Dr. Behlmer graduated from St. John’s University as an undergraduate with a degree in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Science degree at New York University College of Dentistry. He spent three years as a general dentist in the U.S. Naval Corps stationed in Washington, D.C. He is a current member of the American Dental Association and the 4th District Dental Society. Dr. Behlmer has been a resident of the North Country for more than 20 years where he lives with his wife and three children. He and his wife are active members of their church in Queensbury, New York. Dr. Behlmer enjoys sports and is a member of the Adirondack Runners Club and Hiland Park Country Club.
Dr. Robert Christiansen – Clifton Park Oral Surgeon, Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Robert Christiansen is a board-certified Oral Maxillofacial surgeon with 1st Advantage Dental of New York. He graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, with a degree in Political Science, and attended the University of Texas at Austin as a graduate student in government. Dr. Christiansen graduated with honors from the Dental School at Northwestern University in Chicago, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Christiansen’s practice focuses on oral surgery for teenagers and adults. He sees oral surgery cases ranging from simple or multiple wisdom tooth extractions to pathology, preprosthetic, implant, bone grafting and orthodontic exposures. He offers various anesthesia options including IV sedation.
Dr Anthony Palumbo - Clifton Park Periodontist
Dr. Anthony Palumbo is a Periodontist with 1st Advantage Dental. He graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Dr. Palumbo received a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Subsequent to receiving his dental degree, Dr. Palumbo completed a 3-year Advanced Education Program in Periodontics from Stony Brook University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, and Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Palumbo has received the Outstanding Dental Student in Implant Dentistry Award from Academy of Osseointegration. He is currently pursuing Board Certification with the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Palumbo specializes in periodontal and implant treatments including gingival grafting, implant placement, sinus augmentation, and advanced bone augmentation
