Dr. Gary Hutton, general dentist
Gary Hutton, DDS – Hudson Dentist (general dentistry)
A founding owner of 1st Advantage Dental of New York, Dr. Hutton enjoys providing family dental care, and strives to treat every patient as though a member of his family. He believes it is important to emphasize the relationship of oral health and total health; to emphasize the prevention of dental disease as well as the disease process. It is important to him to take the time to explain patient’s dental health needs, the options of care and to ensure that they are understood in order to accomplish the very best outcome.
Dr. Hutton is a 1975 honors graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he completed a general practice residency at Booth Memorial Medical Center, now known as New York Hospital, Queens. He maintained a private practice in family dentistry in Sheffield, Mass. for 19 years prior to practicing in the Community Health Plan/Kaiser Permanente medical centers. While in private practice, Dr. Hutton was very active in the Massachusetts Dental Society, serving in District leadership roles, including District President, as well as participating on several State committees.
He is the past-President of 1st Advantage Dental of New York, and currently is Vice President of Clinical Affairs and chairman of the Quality Assurance and Quality Initiatives committees.
In his spare time, Dr. Hutton enjoys spending time with family and close friends, photography and cross-country skiing.
